I first heard of Hayao Miyazaki when I accidentally came across Spirited Away. After watching the film, I was in a Hayao Miyazaki frenzy. I watched all his films that I could lay my hands on. Howl’s Moving Castle, MY Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, you name it.
This coming August, we will be treated again with another Hayao Miyazaki showpiece, Ponyo.
It is an animated adventure centered on a 5-year-old boy and his relationship with a goldfish princess who longs to become human.
